We all know that images or graphics contribute great impact in a sales message of your products.”One picture is worth a thousand words” – so, they say.

Used appropriately – images, particulary, if they have been produced with a good digital camera, can enhance the appearance of a web page. Pictures do attract favourable attention.
However, when trying to index your web pages, certain engines will time out at 30 seconds…

Speed Matters…

If the images you have placed on your web pages are ladden with very high pixels the pages will be too slow to load. It should be noted that large graphics can account for over 70% of a page’s total kilobytes.

Many major search engines will timeout before indexing pages that load too slowly.
This means slow loading Web sites may not be included in the search results of some search engines.

The other negative stroke is, loading time over 24 seconds loses not less than 40% of potential viewers due to impatience! Most viewers will move on before your page has finished loading, your page will bounce and you lose a sale!

Good loading speed of a web page should be under 30 seconds.

When adding graphics or images to your Web page, ensure they are optimized for size and quality.
